Michael Day is a well-known figure now in his 50th year in the property industry (he says he started when he was three!). He is a Fellow of RICS and was the inaugural Chairman of the RICS Residential Faculty. He is also a Fellow of Propertymark NAEA and Propertymark ARLA and holds an MBA from Reading University.
A powerful communicator and business leader Michael has operated at senior C-suite level in several organisations and as a NED or advisory board member.
Michael is the Managing Director of multi award winning Integra Property Services.
Michael’s 1500 plus client list is a “who’s who” of the property industry and he is also an experienced judge for many industry awards, a regular speaker at conferences, a contributor to the trade media and a guest on numerous podcasts and webinars.
Recognised as a leading mentor and trainer in sales, management, governance and compliance, Michael is also an accredited trainer for Propertymark.
He is a participatory member of the Home Buying & Selling Council that is an industry wide collective of stakeholders, including the Government, looking at improving the home buying and selling process.
He is an agency advisory panel member for Propertymark : REACH which is a technology incubator operation set up to advance new businesses in the sector. In 2023 Michael; was honoured as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at The Negotiator Awards.
Away from business, Michael is a huge music fan, a singer songwriter and guitarist and attends and plays dozens of live gigs every year. He is also a season ticket holder and shareholder at Watford FC. Married to Sue, Michael lives in Chalfont St Peter and has two grown up children and six grandchildren.
Charity/Volunteering Roles
Michael has always been active in community and charitable work (Round Table, Chamber of Commerce, Parish Council, Neighbourhood Action Group) and in organising various events for good causes including the Chalfont St Peter Feast Day and Christmas Fun Night.
In 2020 he became a Founder Member of Agents Together.
In 2024 Michael was appointed as a Director and Trustee of the Propertymark Trust charity which focuses on supporting Propertymark members with their well-being and mental health; provides financial support for learning and qualifications; and help and support for those with health or financial hardship issues. He is the Chair of the Education and Applications Group.
A type one diabetic for over 35 years, Michael completed the Diabetes UK One Million Step Challenge and London Bridges Wellness Walks in both 2023 and 2024. This involved walking circa 500 miles each year during July, August and September raising £6000+ and considerable awareness for the charity.
